Professor Sakis Gekas, HHF Chair of Modern Greek History, York University and graduate students in the York University History Graduate Program, Angelo Laskaris and Iasonas Rodopoulos presented their research on: “80 Years Since Liberation: The Forgotten Liberation: Why Greece Does Not Commemorate the End of Nazi Rule in 1944”, at the PanMacedonian Association of Ontario.
