2025 Protomagia Annual Dinner

On May 1st, we hosted the Annual Dinner of the Hellenic Canadian Association of Ontario, at the Metamorfosi tou Sotiros banquet hall at the heart of Greektown. This year's dinner was hosted on May Day, giving us the chance to commemorate the national worker's day, as well as the beginning of spring (although it was a very rainy day in Toronto). The tables were adorned with flowers and guests enjoyed rebetiko music by the Tarafi Band. The dinner was well-attended by faculty members and graduate students of Hellenic inheritance, their family members, members of the broader Greek-Canadian community, as well as non-Greek friends who simply enjoy Greek food and music! We were genuinely touched by the show of community among our members and friends!

We would like to thank all the members of our community for attending, the multifarious musicians of the Tarafi band for their soulful performance and Mr. Nikos Nikolopoulos from catering by Nikos for his delicious food and personalized attention to our guests. Finally, we wish to express our gratitude to our generous donors; Asteria fine wines + imports, who donated wine and tsipouro for the event, Anthi Flower Boutique for making the lovely table centrepieces, and Serano Bakery for the delectable desserts.
